Joe:
A few years ago I ran across some at a Hamfest, Sold a bunch to Bruce and went back to the seller for more and they were gone! Mojo has them now-without the ring clamp. so, you can convert a non grounded plug to a grounded one.
The last I checked Newark had them for $14, but I think they are long out of stock.

A few people have them, but they ain't cheap:

1. http://www.vibroworld.com/parts/tech14.html

search for "160-2N" and it will be listed for $25.

2. Mojotone had them too in their 2003 catalog, cheaper I think. I don't see it on their 2004 catalog though.

3. http://www.alliedelec.com/

search for "160-2N" and it will be listed for $15 or so.

The part, originally made by Amphenol, is now being manufactured by Wire Pro Inc. If you go to their website, http://www.wpi-interconnect.com/

and search for 160-2N, it will give you the distributors that carry it:

DISTRIBUTOR PARTNUMBER QUANTITY STOCKDATE DISTRIBUTORPHONENUMBER
Allied 160-2N 211 2/1/2004 817-595-3500
Astrex 160-2N 1 2/1/2004 516-433-1700
CDM 160-2N 3 2/1/2004 856-740-1200

No problem, Joel. I built a few amps a couple of years ago and they all used the same style courtesy outlet. At that time, I got luck and found a bunch of them (NOS) at a surplus store for $1.50 and bought them all. Then, I decided to find out who would sell a replacement part... so the research had already been done. :)
