Butler tube driver: Pots audio or linear?
Hello everyone. I'm wanting to start building the B.K. Butler tube driver, but I have some questions I was hoping somone might be able to answer.
(http://amps.zugster.net/articles/tube-pedals/BKButlerTubeDriver.gif) It's probably common sense, but are the pots linear or audio? There are 2 pots in the tone stack, one for output level, and one across opamp stage 2. Is it OK for these to be 1/4 watt pots? Also, caps can be low voltage, right? (as apposed to caps for tubes amps, 450V, etc.)
I'd also be interested in anyone else's experiences with this or other tube distortion boxes. TIA
John T.
