confused with Cap. spec.- 4u7 and 2u2 ??? Was wanting to build the Odie overdrive from runoffgroove.com, but two of the Capacitors(connected to S on the J201 FET's) of the schematic say 4u7, and 2u2- does that mean 4.7 and 2.2 or is it a misprint meaning 47u and 22u?? thanks! |

Hi Gary 4u7 does mean 4.7 uF 2u2 does mean 2.2 uF like 2k2 does mean 2200 ohms hope this helps / have a great new year ! Chris |

used in place of a decimal point. I guess the idea is that it's potentially more survivable than a decimal point which may be rubbed away or erased. Sometimes throws you off--like u470 was 470pF, IIRC, but it makes sense once you understand the idea. |
