confused with Cap. spec.- 4u7 and 2u2 ???
Was wanting to build the Odie overdrive from, but two of the Capacitors(connected to S on the J201 FET's) of the schematic say 4u7, and 2u2- does that mean 4.7 and 2.2 or is it a misprint meaning 47u and 22u??

Hi Gary
4u7 does mean 4.7 uF
2u2 does mean 2.2 uF
2k2 does mean 2200 ohms
hope this helps / have a great new year !

used in place of a decimal point. I guess the idea is that it's potentially more survivable than a decimal point which may be rubbed away or erased. Sometimes throws you off--like u470 was 470pF, IIRC, but it makes sense once you understand the idea.

Chris and Dai, thanks for the response. Time to get working on the new year resolution, that is, to build as many things as I can!
Happy New Year!
