Mount a Danelectro mini in a BB box?
I would like to mount my Dano Chicken Salad (Univibe) into a BB style box. Why? I like the sound but want a sturdier enclosure and switch. The question I have is, will a 3PDT stomp switch work with it or does it need something different (momentary maybe)? If I could just use the board with new pots and a switch it would be much more rugged and fit right onto my pedal board with my other homebrew pedals. I just don't trust it stock for live use. Also, it would be cool with true bypass. Whatcha' think? Bruce J.

It has been mentioned before that the daughter board on those dano's may contain all of the switching circuitry. So when you pull out the mainboard you can use it like a normal pedal with DPDT or 3PDT. Also, you'll want to change the pots and jacks. There may be buffering issues that alter the sound. But all in all it is a great way to make a cheapo pedal 200% more usable live!

Let us know how it works out, I was thinking of doing the same thing with a Dano PB&J delay, sounds great but the jacks and switches are terrible.
