artie	stinkfoot Anybody know for sure what Frank uses on the solo of Stinkfoot? One of those Morley Pick Wah thingamajigs ? Any thoughts os FZ's style and choice of effects? It doesn't.... and you can't. I won't ..... & It don't... It hasn't.... It isn't..... It even ain't and it shouldn't It couldn't.....

Doug H	If I remember correctly it was something like a barcus-berry mounted on the neck and blended in with the normal pickup sound. Doug

Kerry M	To the best of my recollection - the solo on Stinkfoot is played on an acoustic with a magnetic soundhole pickup going to a Mutron (and maybe a pignose), and some kind of piezo straight. Inspired by this sound, I used to use a homemade RS piezo speaker/ contact pickup combined with my guitars magnetic pickups alot. Frank was the ruler of planet Mutron for sure.
