I instigated for this forum because business issues kept cropping up everywhere and I thought it might be useful to have them all in one place, but it is starting to seem as if people would rather raise the business side of things in response to other more product-focussed threads rather than focussing on business per se.

It's a bit like the difference between being thought of as a funny guy because you can stick jokes in the midst of otherwise serious business, and being a comedian. Stick that same person who is funny in class or meetings in front of a mic on a stage and they can be boring as hell. Sometimes when you place a spotlight on something it just disappears.

Fine with me. You try something and see if it works. If it doesn't, move on. Might be time to move on.
