advertising
Hi all

What kind of advertising do you use ? Right now I'm thinking of putting a small add in a dutch guitar-mag .....
Ads on the internet and mouth-to-mouth-advertising are pretty ok at this moment but I need more :) LOL

have a nice weekend !

Of course the internet is a good way to go if you hang in long enough.
I have one standing ad in Vintage Guitar and last year did 3 ads in Guitar player at $2600 for a 1/8 page plack and white, cheapest ad they have.
just spent about $3000 in the Guitar world Buyers Guide for the first time.
the VG pays for itself the Guitar player, lots of people saw it but I couldnt tell if it translated into enough sales.
I think VG is pretty slanted to people that would only buy the newest digital stuff, pods etc or name brand stuff. not vintage type players.
not only that but the staff is not very accesable same thing with Guitar world. You have to beat them over the head to get any service like a press release if youre lucky but you can count on them calling you for your advertizing dollars.
If you decide to go into something like Guitar Player I would go after them with a big stick, threaten to spend some advertizing dollars but beat them up for some pressreleases or reviews first. Hold your money in front of them like a carrot on a stick. Get the upper hand and make them jump first otherwise you wont get any extras unless youre buying $70,000 ads.

Awww, Jeez...

Congratulations, Dude!!!

Right on.

After my divorce (I simply didn't marry the right person for me) I was sour on marriage for years. Plus my parents were divorced, and that didn't help. But after meeting a few really beautiful and lovely women, I have a very romantic view on marriage and would love to do it again (for the first time, so to speak).

Anyhow, I hope this is the best thing for both of you and wish you lifetimes of love and friendship.

God bless you and your soulmate, Chris.
