What about a pro musician? All this talk about building effects and amps is great, but it really doesn't apply to me. What I'm wondering is what it takes to be successfull in the music biz. I'm in the process of trying to step out and do music full time. I'm slowly recording (at home and in studio) a demo album. I have a bit of a unique playing style and sound, and have a great songwriting partner. So I know there is alot of potential there, but I'm clueless as to where the money could or is supposed to come from... live dates, cd sales, or record contracts? I'm not looking to get rich, just want to be able to eat. Any insight is appreciated. |
