I was wondering if someone can tell me,on a bobbin how much of this wire guage(awg 42) can be wound before being over full? i P.A.F has 5000 turns and is usually at 8K
so if i want a 9.2K P.A.F overwind,is that possible with AWG 42?

Download the calculator... it will help you to calculate your desired info based on dimensions and wire size.

You'd be looking at getting somewhere between 5,700 and 5,850 turns of 42 on a bobbin - can be done but you'll need to wind very tight and even, otherwise the wire will spill over the edge of the bobbin.

Ok,if a pup is at 9.3K and looks full but is not over the edge of the bobbins what gauge would that be?
I have a no name PAF that sounds great at 9.3K
