Heavy Polyurethane ??? Any reason in using "Heavy Polyurethane" or "Heavy Poly-Nylon" instead of "Heavy Formvar" ? |

I have to change the question a bit , what I meant was why not use "Heavy Poly or Poly-Nylon" instead of "Heavy Formvar" ? If someone wants a rewind of a "Heavy Formvar"-pickup , what do you do ? Use "Heavy Formvar" or something else or .... ? |

| SK | Honestly, I don't know what you are referring to. I've never heard of a pickup wound with "heavy formvar" |

Heavy insulation build. Its a spec for the thickness of insulation. I dont use it but I do use poly. depends on who you are doing the work for if they want to see that purplish black wire color you have to go with the formvar otherwise heavy is heavy. |

Thanks , that's all I wanted to know. |

| SK | Jason, You know of any pickups that spec "heavy build" or double build for the insulation? I don't, and that's what I was saying... |

| SK | BTW, the purplish black (burgundy) is PE, Formvar is a brown-orange straw color... |
