| Rob | Seymour Duncans Bobbin Orientation In their specs, Seymour Duncan defines winding direction as the usual TG= Top Going, TC= Top Coming. However, the bobbin orientation isn't specified. Anyone know what the bobbin orienation is? (Top left or Top Right) Is this orientation always used in their pickups? Regards Rob |

Not sure, but I wish they would just stick to the standard Clockwise and Counterclockwise. They do it to confuse people, I say! Wolfe |

| Rob | Yeah there isn't much standardization, unfortunately there's 45 years of old bagage to carry around now. Humbucker wiring color codes is one of my favourites.... Regards Rob |

| SK | The assumption is top right, but Duncan tries to wind in the original directions to ensure compatability. This will be different for a middle pickup, or one pickup in a 2 pickup set i.e. tele. |
