Re: Separation of church and state I think the vacuum was created when the church ceased to be the central organization to communities. It was once the only place one could go to get news of the contry or the world and the news was anything but unbiased. Infact, at one time governments were franchised by the Catholic Church. In other words, if the Pope didn't approve of your leadership...out you go. As far as the vacuum, I think the news media filled it. |
