What you may not know, is that the TX constitution severely limits the power the Governer has to pardon inmates on death row. In fact, he can't! The maximum he can do is a stay of execution, (post-ponement) for 30 or 60 days.

The Lt. Governer is the one that has the most power in TX government.

Skreddy	Re: Is Syria next? Sounds to me like GW has already set his sights on Iran for their highly advanced research, full-scale uranium enrichment facilities, and imminent nuclear weapons development. Seems like once we got this party started, it's getting harder to come back home!

The region is watching Iraq closely. The leaders of the other tyranical countries around Iraq are calling for Jihad because their people will soon crave freedom (and they will actually have to work for a living

). These people are kept ignorant and taught that Israel is responsible for their misery as their own leaders live in luxury and abandon.

I sincerely hope that the people of the middle east all rise against their oppressive governments and take the freedom that they so richly deserve. I don't care what type of democracy they employ as long as they are free and they elect their own leaders. I want their children to go to school. I want their people to worship the god(s) of their own choosing. I want their people to live their lives without fear. Period.
