Help Need Good Drum Module for Recording
Help, I have an Alesis SR16 and now a Roland XV-5050 with the additional drum adder card and after recording both, niether is kicking my a%$.

Can anyone recommend a sound module that has enough beef in the samples to hold up to EQ -ing and still sound rich and full.

Whats is everyone using ?

Thanks

Try Zoom. Their patches are more oriented towards rock and have lot's of natural reverb included. Give Zoom a listen at your local music store and you will immediately know what I'm talking about.

And if doesn't do it for you, than at least you know you checked it out.

Will do, which model if you have an idea ?

If it sounds good its as good as mine this weekend !

Any one else ?

Some said DDrum, OK cool but what are buying, some RAM, a basic hi-res sampler . Hardware devalues so quickly, it seems like a bad way to spend $1000.00 ?
DDrum seems to sell on their samples, alright so ho why sell the hardware ?

Tone Quest 2003 !

They all are very good. The least expensive is around $160 and the top of the line is $300+. The sound quality is there whichever one you decide to buy.
