Re: Parasitic Reverb Problem: A New type of gain control As for parasitic oscillations on a 'scope, they're usually ultrasonic frequencies, so if you've got your sweep rate adjusted to show the audio frequency they're crowded together too much to see clearly. They'll make the scope trace look fuzzy and spread out vertically. They may occur only during the parts of the signal cycle where the current is changing quickly, near the peaks and the crossovers of the waveform. |
