Like 20 years ago I had business in Waukeegan. There was a restaurant there called the Seville. It made me think of a Denny's that sells beer too. This place had a big sign with neon and border lights chasing and I think it even rotated. The sign was mis-spelled, it said: Seville Restanraut. I wonder if that is still around? |

Tube guru Les Plopa was the guy at Minstrel Music for many years, not sure if he's still there or not. He designed the Kern tube wah and Kern bass preamp. He also put the finishing revisions on the Victoria Reverberato. Another excellent tech is Eddie Schaeffer in Cicero. He makes "Evil" amps and also makes the best Univibes you've never heard! He is also legendary blues drummer Sam Lay's guitarist. Tim |
