Q. about Canadian JCM-800's with a bunch of fuses.
Hi,

I have a Canadian version JCM-800 and I heard they don't sound as good as american version due to all the fuses, is there any truth to this ? I tought the fuses were helpful identifying tube or cap failures as each fuse is labeled ... heaters and so.. Should I bypass all the fuses ?

Hi J Payant!

NO don't bypass all the fuses!!!
you will be in trouble if someting go's wrong with the amp.

If there should be any difference between the Canadian and the american version it proability be on the B+.

If you want to do some improvements I should recommend you to get Kevin O'Conners book TUT3 and learn how to improve the wiring in the amp.
I have done that in manny Marshalls with very good result!
