Small Stone problem.

Hey guys,

While I'm digging back into my drawer of pedals I'm remembering some things I forgot after I stashed the things.

I have a Small Stone that looks like this one I found on ebay.

Is this an earlier one? I haven't seen too many that have this particular silkscreening scheme.

Anyway, to the problem at hand...this thing (seemingly) can't handle any sort of hot input signal. I don't have hot pickups by any stretch but if I slam a big chord I get a nasty "BLLECHHH" out of the thing that sounds like speaker shredding. Any ideas?

Jim Jones	Figured out the date... I figured out the year of manufacture from the speed pot date code - 1975. Jim
