mesa booger V-Twink someone sent me this to mod out a bit. he cant stand the solo mode. any ideas? i'm thinking add ing some germanium diodes in the clipping circuit. and adding some carbon comps in a few other places. thanx for your ideas!!!! bosephus |

Re: mesa booger V-Twink update well i finally got around to playing on the thing. doesnt sound too shabby if ya leave the MID control all the way down, but turn it past a certain point and total midrange. yucky!!!! sounds very solid state when this happens, not so much if ya keep it turned down. any idea on how to mess w this? im thnking there is a solid state mid boost somewhere? has to be for it to sound that bad. thanx!! bosephus |
