Cool Cat gating effect I like my Danelectro Cool Cat (18v version) as an alternative to my CE-2. It has a broader, more warbly sound than the Boss, with less shimmer, and is good for a thick quasi-vibe effect. One problem, though. The CC has a distinct gating effect, where the signal abruptly cuts off during its decay. It is ok for rhythm, but any time you hold a note for any length ot time, its there and it is annoying. First: is this par for the course, or is there something wrong with this pedal? Second: Anyone know a fix/workaround? Third: Is there anywhere that I can get a schematic? Thanks, all. Ben |
