adjusting 6.3v filament voltage Gentlemen: With all tubes installed I'm seeing 6.7v ac across the filament supply. Shouldn't it be lower ? What's the best way to pull it down to 6.3 v ? / frankenstein ps: I'm referencing ground with a 100 ohm resistor from each leg to ground. |

| scott c | thats not a problem since tubes are supposed to be 12.6 volts on the heaters, this is lowered to 6.3 volts in guitar amps to keep the noise down. however the rectifier heater is usually 6.5 volts so you probably have them switched, but dont worry about it. |
