Re: Fuzz Monster Magnet relied heavily on the Big Muff in the salad days (i.e. Spine of God and Superjudge). Plenty of sites have the Big Muff schematic, mods, etc. You would probably want to try building an unmodded version first, as that would get closest to the sound. Play with the neck pickup - instant Monster Magnet! You'll also want to use a fairly clean amp setting, so that the majority of the distortion comes from the fuzz box. Sean Costello |
