a top-quality analog delay? Hi, this is my first post here. I'm looking for a high end analog delay to complement my pedalboard. I have a standard boss DD-3 and its not bad for the price. I'm a big fan of boutique pedals and own a vintage Ibanez phaze tone, a Demeter tremulator and an Analogman Clone Clone (all of which are great!) I'd appreciate some advice. Thanks. |

I love my Ibanez AD-9. Very warm, natural sounding delay. Looks good with my Tube Screamer too. |

Chandler digital stereo echo. Isn't analog, but sounds much warmer and natural than you could believe, and quiet as a mouse. Try it, you'll like it. |

I haven't messed with these yet,but guys are telling me that the new Line 6 Green delay units are pretty good....It's in with the new Line 6 POD series, which is also getting cool responses! John S. |

| Lou | Try to find a used Way Huge delay, pricey, or you can get the Line 6, which right now is probably the best thing out there for the money and features(although they are BIG!) |

| passing thru | I've never heard anything sound more like an echoplex than my vintage EH Deluxe Memory Man (purchased for $25 back when people could hardly give these things away). Has a great vibrato, too. The delay sounds alot like Page's echoplex on the first couple Zep records, i.e. it adds a certain chewy, textured, tape-flavored character that seems very expressive and "vocal." |

Try a Danelectro Delay pedal. Cool, warm, analog-like tones at a very reasonable price. Note: get a power adapter, as these babies eat batteries! |
