DSP development system pricing!!! The Analog Devices ADDS-21XX-EZLITE kit is $101.12 at Allied/Avnet and they have 106 units in stock. This is NOT the same DSP I was blathering about before - that one was a 32-bit part and this one's 16-bits. Hope to be getting pricing on the 32-bit kit this PM. |

The ADDS-2106X-EZLAB is $1414.09, six weeks lead time. This is for the 32-bit SHARC(tm) DSP part. |

How does the TI stuff add up? Don't get me wrong, I don't work in anything having to do with DSP's at TI and am really not familiar with the line. I just know that we offer all that stuff, but how much? |

My opinion about TI's DSP offerings was formed a over a decade ago and is likely out of date. I'm a lot less of a purist now, so if TI offers better dev system deals, go for it. My 'reasoning', if you can call it that, was based on an admittedly subtle architectural difference. I'll only burden the group with it if anyone cares. (You're welcome = |

I am a software engineer with 2.5 years of programming experience with C++. How can I start to learn DSP programming with minimum budget? Thanks! |
