Re: DSP development system pricing!!! Amazon.com has 500+ books on DSP, and one in particular that applies C++ to DSP. No experience with ANY of these books. Not sure C++ per se is the best approach to application-level code, but probably good for learning principles. Got a university/community college handy? |

Don't be intimidated by the large numbe of pages. There's no exotheric stuff there, just the basics. But EVERY single concept is explained with the aids of examples, in a step by step fashion, with plenty of pictures. |

Thanks! I'll get that book, though I am not sure that I have the necessary math background. ( I dont like math much). Will this be a serious problem? |

If you know complex numbers and trigonometric functions it's OK. If you have a notion of what an integral and a derivative is, better. |
