Re: Dumble Build - Any schematic errors? I went with Sprague Atom electrolytics. I got impatient and used some 10uF that I had on hand. Quite happy with the result. good luck bw |

Thanks Bob I found the site and lookes very interesting espacially the pre amp tone shaping. But I don,t see the master volume and the prescence pots there.Where are the since a od special comes with them |

They weren't on the original schem. The pre and power are from seperate ODS so maybe that's why the MV was omitted. Pretty standard from what little information I've been able to gather that Dumble uses a standard pre-pi master volume. I used that on my clone and it works very well. As for the presence knob, on this particlular amp it is the accent switch. I didn't use that but put in a standard presence control. Look at a older Fender schem, that's what I went with and again it worked pretty well. bw |

so.. there's a small (small) chance that this could be the OD from the steel string singer that I desire so badly... either way- how does the MV effect the distortion? Do you use the presence control at all? I thought the amp was already too bright? JT |

For your Info, the Steel string singer has a different pre amp than the ODS amps, and has no overdrive section at all! E.J.M |
