Sustain Punch Bulls**t

Has anyone been watching the SustainPunch board? For the past few days they have been running a statement that was supposedly from Billy Corgan claiming that their 200 dollar Creamy Dreamer pedal was the best thing since hyped up no need for a mod Big Muffs. Now it is mysteriously replaced by some other fake sounding review from some "session guitarist" I'm sure Mr. Corgan caught wind of this fake endorsement and made them remove it. From it's humble beginnings Sustain Punch has been faking reviews. Just check the old ones from Harmony Central. They all have non working e-mail addresses and are all written in a similar style. About four of the reviews and all of the e-mails Jeff Douchette has sent me have the peculiar form of sentences followed by three ...'s insted of just a period. Check it out for yourself. I usually am not out to get anyone but this is terrible. I have thought of selling my own clones of popular pedals but I would offer realistic prices and honest advertising. Making up fake favorable reviews is just scummy. Don't believe the hype. Don't give this dishonest kid any more money. At least the other boutique manufacturers are stand up guys. I just have had enough of Jeff and Sustain Crud.

Yet you seem to be going from bbs to bbs posting the same slam against susPunch. Have you bought anything from them? Did they do any mods for you?

Admittedly the hype is heavy at SustainPunch, but pick any web site that is selling a product and you'll find the same. I could point out a few well-known boutique effects makers who lather on the BS rather heavily. Fake technical claims are just as reprehensible as what you allege, and some of those "stand up guys" are guilty of that.

anonymous	Hey I read up on sustain punch and you do have a point. I just noticed on their page that those Big muff mods cost $80! Damn, Less than $5 in parts and a 20 min job, for $80. What a rip-off!
