Hi, I spent $2 for a small tube amp of the above description. Anyone ever hear of this amp/company? Too bad I can no longer search the archives. It has an EF86 preamp and a 6GW8 power tube (which has a triode and a pentode and I believe is obsolete). Rectifier is a 6X4. Havent tried it yet because I need a replacement EF86/6267. It looks to be pretty well made but these tubes are a pain to locate.

It's no trouble locating those tubes. All those types are available at Antique Electronic Supply (www.tubesandmore.com), and other sources.  
 
 
 
Just so you have an idea, the 6GW8 is similar to a 6BM8, but has higher power output capability (and a different pinout), good for about 4w audio in a single ended guitar amp.
