Re: Thanks a bunch, guys...
I'll drop a line to Ned at Triode, his replacement board looks pretty cool. I might put one together and use it whilke I rebuild the original board.

I know the ST-70 isn't reference quality. But, it's a fairly common amp with a wealth of information available and mods to try and I feel it will be a great amp to start with in tube HiFi (I'm slowly learning tube amp mechanics). Besides it's going to be used as a bedroom amp in place of the rack stereo system I have now, I'm just looking for something to play CD's off of. I have a full digital-dolby/DTS home theater system, blah, blah, blah in the living room.

I've printed out all your posts (along with manuals, schematics, etc. from the web) and will work my way through the amp making sure all as should be.

Thanks,

dan Re: Dynaco ST-70's, if yer serious about a rebuild
Wyatt: if you are serious about rebuilding your ST70, I would advise you to go to Sonic Frontiers (they have web page)... these people are extremely helpfull.. they have made one off mods for my requests (for almost no $!)they also have a soft spot for old Dynaco stuff... being a serious tube equipment Mfg. they do know what they are doing
