Gus	neve mic/line modules Speed, Trace, anyone what do you think of NEVE 1272 modules? I found a schematic for the 1272 and ordered 2 input trans and 2 output trans to make a dual module. The SE output line driver looks like the "magic" part. Speed have you started your tube mic preamp?                 Gus

SpeedRacer	Didn't get started yet.. working on house, 1 month and 10 days (est) til we have a little Racer around here Hectic!!     The mic pre-amp looks like a w/e project. All I need is a w/e! Will post pics etc when done. Just doing 2 channels of Jensen (the cascode schem) with phantom power in a (probably) single space rack box. I'll grab a toroid PT somewhere..

Gus	I would think the cascode might be to Hi Fi do you know if the summit unit is based on that schematic? I think summit uses Jensen transformers.

Trace	Guss;         The few summits I've seen did have the Jensen transformers. Mighty hard to come by.         Trace

Trace	Gus;         Yo mate! (ha, ha) if you're doing it for fun then it's a cool way to go if you need that in your project studio. If you want to make money with it then I'd look at the 1073's. You get all that and more!         Trace
