Rock Master I recently aquired a Peavey "Rock Master" real cheap. Ofcourse it doesn't work (you get what you pay for). I seem to be having some difficulty finding a schematic for this thing. Does anyone have any hints on where to look? The Peavey web site was not much help. thanks wink |

Hi, Wink. If noone here can email you a schematic, the folks at Peavey seem pretty eager to sell their schematics. While ordering some transistors for a CS-400, I asked for a 5150 schematic, which they gladly sold for $5. Not free, but not too expensive either. |

| anonymous | The Rockmaster isn't a terrible little preamp, either. I need to see about getting some schems for mine. Mine has some squirreliness in that sometimes its real weak sounding. I replaced tubes a while back and thought it was fixed, but it still does it sometimes... |

I'll call Peavey and see if I can get it from them. BTW, you mentioned "little preamp". There was apparently 2 Rock Masters. The one I have is a 100 watt head. 3 12ax7s and 4 6L6GCs. They also made a preamp called a Rock Master. wink |

| anonymous | The biggest problem with the Rockmaster preamp is the jacks in the back used for patching the unit in to other effects. Usually a burnishing tool and a little reshaping of the contacts on these effects loops jacks will get rid of intermittant level and gain drops. |
