Vox Organ
Anybody able to help me with a Vox Continental Organ? I've replaced the trimpots on three notes with success. One of them, however, does not oscillate at it's lowest octave. When the trimpot is dialed in to the proper spot the signal drops out. Which transistor/cap should I go after? Thanks to anyone in the know!

Maybe the new trimpot is faulty.
I'm not an expert though, but I've seen similar fails in those organs, and it usually was just the trimpot.

Already tried two trimpots. Always check the easy stuff first.

Okay, this one is experience, not so much knowing what the heck is going on in your case ;) but I've done a fair bit of work on a friend's Vox organs (Continentals,2000's) and what goes out most on a single key is a unipolar electrolytic cap (mostly 50u I think, on the individual little pcb's). I do seem to remember that that takes out the entire key, not just the bottom octave, though. Have you checked if the connectors work? The mechanical switching of a key is quite fiddly and sensitive, and the internal connectors... well, you've seen the insides, right? ;P
Hope it helps vague as it may be. Good luck (oh, and do NOT get tempted into opening up one of those big bundles of wire - regretted that one for almost a week - the time it took to restore the lot after a big repair)
