| nic | more questions about wiring... I read at the Seymour site about using pots for "selecting" the amount of each coil in the mix instead of cutting via switch. This got my motor running. If I were to do this would I use 250K pots on each coil or stick with the 500K as stadard for HB's? Also, John said he finds separate coils to not be as useful as a single coil. I am looking for more tonal options out of the standard dual humbucker... thanks, nic |

I have seen the red reid coil cutter on the tone control very cool and usefull, I have the scem somewhere I would use 500k pots coil cuts on humbucking pick-ups are great I have found it to be the best sounding mod on a 4 conducter pick-up and very usefull sorry john I do not concure..try it youll like it..chip |
