This is the responce I got via e-mail about the nitrocellulous lacquer that they sell... I also received my shipment of sealer and gloss coat from them Yesterday... I think I will post an online building journal so that people can see my progress.  
 
 
 
Nic,  
 
All nitrocellulose lacquer yellows or ambers with age/time. The only  
 
finish  
 
that I've used that didn't yellow with time is catalyzed acrylic  
 
urethane,  
 
which is used for automobiles, motorcycles, airplanes and other  
 
applications. Other finishes like acrylic lacquer, enamels, some  
 
polyurethane, and polyesters don't amber as well. I would consult with  
 
local automotive paint shops to see what they have available and that  
 
will  
 
be compatible with the finish on your guitar.
