'73 Vibrolux Reverb Hey gang, I just came across a guy selling a '73 Vibrolux Reverb in great shape, so I snatched it up. Pictures he provided look great. Just waiting for it to arrive from CA (I'm in Illinois). It has Mojotone 50W speakers in it, which I'm not sure I'll like. I may put Weber P10Q's in it. I'll probably recap it with Atom's. Now supposedly it has Realistic branded power tubes that this guys says were actually made by Mullard. I don't know about the rectifier (5U4) tube. Supposedly american preamp tubes, though he's not sure which. Any advice on this amp? Thoughts on a 5AR4 instead of the 5U4? Speaker ideas? Thanks, Jeff |
