Jensen C10NM Hi folks. Just picked up 2 of these at a swap meet and wondered if any of you know about them. Other codes are 220441,220430, and C7646 on both.Also they have closed baskets,i.e. no holes or slots. Thanks,Jim. |

they may be midrange speakers for 3-way crossover hi-fi speakers. I've come across C8's with closed baskets that I was told serve that purpose. |

Thanks pump.Maybe that's why they sound so mid-trebly thru a guitar amp.Anybody know if they can be made into full range for guitar? New voice coil,cone? Jim |

Good Q for Ted Weber...I asked my local speaker re-coner about it and he poo-poo'd the idea. Something about the closed baskets. - P |

I agree with your re-coner. the closed basket means you don't have to physically isolate the mid range speaker in the cabinet. Don't try to make it something it is not; it won't be good for anything. |
