Considering the rarity, you could probably make a mint for them on ebay. On the other hand, if you just decide to sell them for something resonable, put me down for one. Thank you. |

Does your source have any more? If so, how do I get in contact with this person? |

| Karel | When I re-capped and re-resitored my original 64 Bassman, I found that the (original)cheap and crappy "F" speaker plug/lampcord wire was messing up the sound. Replacing it with decent wire and Switchcraft plugs made more of a tonal improvement than all of the previous 'restoration'work. Got so pissed I threw the POS 'F' wire out. Fender didn't exactly use the very best materials and 30 + years of aging dosen't help. In my opinion, forget wanting this silly little part, unless resale is your only motivation. |

Uh oh... I think you've unwittingly added more mumbo jumbo to the body of vintage amp folklore!! Now, we'll be hearing from the "it has to be 100% original" vintage Fender amp diehards, that unless the amp still has its original resistors, caps, AND "F" cap speaker plug, its tone will be too "new" (and therefore "sterile") sounding! | |
