"red knob" Twin manual
Does anyone there have a copy of Fender The Twin (~1988) manual. I have tried to find one from the internet but with no result. Could someone send me one via e-mail, or tell me where I could download it. Thank you.

I have it. It's somewhat big I'll take some time to scan it. The schematic can be found on the net.

It would be great if you could do that for me. Thanks. By the way, I did find some schematics, but I don't know the "type" of the amp and as there were many different Twin schematics I don't know which of them it is. Could you advice me on this?

The schematic is also on the tube amp book - I'll look up the page number.

It's the one titled "The Twin".
It's a completely different amp than the other Twin or Twin Reverb models. I sent you a copy from Steve Ahola's site.

P.S.: Dampening the Tubes
Erik, one last thing you can try: use some shrink tubing on the preamp tubes themselves. Yes, this will help to isolate a bit of the mechanical vibrations and may make the difference between the tube being microphonic or not.
