 Marshall JCM 600 Noise Problem
I have a Marshall amp, JCM 600 tube amp, that I am having problems with, when I switch the input to the overdrive channel, I get static noise, but, only when I turn up the treble knob up. I don't think it is the pot itself because it's not affected by wiggling the pot. Anybody have any ideas? Or know where I can get a schematic?

The new marshalls are EXTREMELY noisy. IF you wanna be daring, replace all the resistors (esp. the 1/4watt carbon films) with 1/2 watt or 1 watt metal films
