Schematic?
Does any body know where I can get a schematic for a Bogen CHB 100. I'm going to turn it into a guitar amp and would like a schematic before I start cutting it up. I would also like to add a spring reverb. What is a good reverb circuit? Thanks for any info.

Brett,

I've got a couple of these and I just traced out the schematic myself - took less than 1/2 hour and it's a great way to familiarize yourself with the circuits. The muting circuit is a bit tricky - e-mail me if you have trouble figuring that one out. Other than that and the voltage doubler PS the amp is pretty straight forward.

GW,

There is a factory schematic available, it was in the third edition of Jack Darr's book.

I scanned it a while back, but the scan isn't that good, just barely legible.

Let me know if you want a copy.

Steve,

Thank you but I'm quite content with my hand drawn one as it serves my needs. Usually with any point to point wired amp or piece of equipment I actaully enjoy taking the time to trace it out and draw the schemo. If I get a PC board amp, especailly a SS one, I truly depend on the schematic. As you are well aware, the Bogen is "tube manual" straight forward other than the muting circuits, voltage doubler PS and the quad of tubes. One of these is still intact and the other is a stripped chassis painted black with matching trannies and mica-filled mil-spec octal tube sockets waiting for the inspiration to finish the project. Thanks again.
