Is 62VDC too much as a heater reference voltage ?

Is 62VDC too much as a heater reference voltage ?
I have referenced heater on my ex SF Bassman ( now modded according to Bluesmaker mod )  
to 62VDC. Is it too much?  
BTW I have not noticed any change in hum  
level when I referenced heaters to 62VDC  
instead to ground.

no, it's not too much.  
 
the only thing holding you back is the maximum permissible heater to cathode voltage, or Vhk.

KG, et al.--  
FYI, on the old spec sheets of many tubes, the usual Vhk figure is 200V, of which only 100V can be DC, so figure the maximum allowable DC bias to be 100VDC and you're safe.... :D
