The general "loose" terms that I've heard from customer comments around here is they are charged a minimum fee of some kind, plus 150% increase in shop rate, for rush jobs.
Rush to me is when the customer expects me to drop whatever I'm doing, work on their amp until it's finished and usually have it back to them within 24-48 hours max, parts permiting.
