what kind of tube is a 6060
Hi tube heads,

I recently got my hands on a couple of NOS Brimar 6060s. They are dual triodes which look just like 12AT7s, and seem to perform like them too. Anyone know anything more about these tubes?

According to my tube data book, I agree that it is a 'Special Quality' 12AT7. Brimar just seem to use different model numbers to everyone else.

FWIW 6067 is 12AU7, and 6057 is 12AX7, all special quality.

Thanks for the info guys. A special quality 12AT7! It's amazing what you can get at your local flea market (especially if you eat the hot dogs)
