what kind of tube is a 6060

what kind of tube is a 6060 Hi tube heads, I recently got my hands on a couple of NOS Brimar 6060s. They are dual triodes which look just like 12AT7s, and seem to perform like them too. Anyone know anything more about these tubes? Steve C. |

According to the Tube Lore book.. its a premium 12AT7... I have a few 6201.. a very good tube also. Richie{~}==::: |

According to my tube data book, I agree that it is a 'Special Quality' 12AT7. Brimar just seem to use different model numbers to everyone else. FWIW 6067 is 12AU7, and 6057 is 12AX7, all special quality. Chris |
