Weber VST Reconing Experience
Hi everyone, I was agonizing over where to send a blown Jensen C-12 to get reconed (it went to a killer blackface). I read thru Weber's site and thought it looked like the place to do it right but was probably expensive. A freind said it's only about $50 for a recone. I went and looked a little harder on their website and he was right! $7 to ship it, $51 charge w/return shipping from Weber. The speaker sounds great, I'm very happy w/their service. I highly recommend them to anyone-

Man, I wished I would have known that, I just took a fender 12 to a local shop to have reconed and the guy is charging the same price as Weber. I bet the weber recone would sound better too :(
Bye the way, how long did it take from shipping to recieving for the recone?
Cheers

Hi, they were pretty quick, probably about 10 days shipping to recieving back-

I too have had re-cones by Weber, and agree it's an excellent deal. He once took a Celestion 10 and made it into an awesome C10P; it has a bigger mag' than a standard C10P, so the bass is THERE.

I have another in his shop, he's telling me 2 weeks.
