beto	Amp mod and repair videos - any opinions? I am searching for help in becoming knowledgable. I learn by reading books and posting questions here and on other boards. What about the videos on tube amps from Gerald Weber? Anyone know of any others? Any and all opinions encouraged and respected.   Thanks

MBSetzer	I do think the book & video by Tom Mitchell (got his name right this time) about how to repair your own tube amp is good information for beginners, and it is definitely geared toward musicians.

Dave	Where can this video by tom Mitchell be found? I have the Weber video and to me it moves too slow and doesn't touch on too many areas. A decent video, though. Gerald seems a very laid back guy.   I'd love to see a video that gets a little more in depth, and explains exactly what some componants do.     Dave

beto	Gerald has two videos. The first is basic tube stuff. As I understand it the second one is more complex. Which one do you have??

JCS	I have bothof Weber's books and the second video. They were very helpful to me a beginer, after I watched the video I got the guts to do my first cap job, now i'm addicted to solder !
