How to identify supposed Sieman el-34's.

How to identify supposed Sieman el-34's. I ordered 3 pair of Sieman's el-34's from a huge name distributor. I expected them to come in their NOS boxes. They came in the companies new box and guess what, the factory printing had been scrubbed off and the new company has their name on it. The sales guy assured me that these were Siemans. Have I been scammed? How can I identify a true Siemans tube? Thanks much, Dave |

Siemens have a black base and have a 2 or 3 digit number molded into the bottom of base, don't have numbers identifying pins (1-9) on bottom of base- EW |
