Seymour Duncan Convertible
This is the model with the interchangeable preamp modules.Sounds good at low levels, but at hi stage levels has a gritty distortion to it.
I measured 605 V on the EL34 plates. Are there any good sounding EL34s out there that will be happy at those voltages?Reccomendations?
It has a lot of interesting features, Triode/Pentode switch, varible damping, power attenuator from 5w to 100w (I think this is just a post PI master volume)
Does anybody have any info on this amp?Schematics?

Thanks

Dave,

Call or E-mail Seymour Duncan, I did this
and got the schematic of a 8440 a while ago.
