briburch	30w ab push pull parts list & schema will someone please post a parts list and schmatic for a 30 w class ab push pull using el84s or el34s and 12x7As. Please be my hero, I know your out there.

Try the dusty files on line at www.triodeel.com
Uncle ned will surely have close to what you are looking for.
OR
you could scrounge an old PA or HIFI to use as a platform for the amp of your scheme.
OR
you could go to allen amps, hoffman amps (I'm sure there are others, like clark amplification that have prewired boards)to look at what they offer in the kit catagory

How much work and time do you want to put into it?

Hi Marc. Thank you for the info its priceless to me. I will look into all of your suggestions promptly. As far as how involved or how much time that I want to put into it, well let me just say that time is not a factor to me when it comes to developing my own home grown tone with the bite I'm looking for. The only way to get it is to do it with the help of those who understand where I'm coming from. There are just a handfull of those who know what real tone is and how to go about getting it how you want it, and your one who knows. Thank you for the information. If you have more let me know.

Les	take at look at the November stuff at the AX84 site: http://www.intsys.net/ax84 it's based on the old Marshall Plexi only using EL84's instead of EL34's... I've built it as have a few others, and it really gives that old Marshall sound but at a volume that doesn't take your head off or peel the paint of the walls... Les

briburch	Thanks for the info Les. What speaker would you recomend matching up to this amp? I was thinking maby trying a 25w greenback. What do you think?

Les	I've been running mine thru a 4x12 1960 cab with Greenbacks. It's got early Zep, Thin Lizzy, Bad Company nailed... Les

How many watts are we talkin here? Is it enough to get the speakers to breakup as well? Can you get me a build list for this puppy? What R / ohm is your 4/12 cab? I want to get started on building my own asap. Can I use a larger hammond output transf w/ the going design? Uh,.. Ive got a million questions. I could talk amps/tweeks for ever. Love it. This forum is nice. I wish it could have been here a long time ago. Please give me any details that you think might be of importance in obtaining and constructing this one. Is yours the 15wter?
