FuzzFace	DR Project Without Normal Channel Hi all... I'll start DR Project I don't need Normal Channel.. is it okay to remove normal channel? if it okay... Just remove from input to 220K(before 0.01cap) ??? What change in Tone? is there any method ripping normal channel without change in tone? sorry... I'm not good at english ^^; be

SpeedRacer	You can build without the normal channel at all. If you skip the 2nd channel, you don't need the 220k resistor which is only used to mix the two channels at the phase inverter.

The sound of that single channel will be significantly louder, however, and there will be more backround noise and hiss. Why? Because there will no longer be signal loss from the reverb channel into the normal channel through the 220K mix resistor and .047uF coupling cap on the normal channel's 2nd stage output (which bleeds some of this signal to AC ground via the 100K plate resistor and the power supply rail). If there's too much noise, either some gain reduction in the preamp or the addition of a pre-PI master volume control can help to tame things.

FuzzFace	Thanks.. You means.. If I remove norma channel.. I must connect 0.1 cap direct to 0.001 cap? skip 220k resistor? (AA763 circuit) thanks..

FuzzFace	Okay... Then How about ripping Vibrato Circuit???? Hi... Thanks for info... Another Question... Can Vibrato cuicuit ripped with Normal Channel? If Possible... Where to Where must I remove? Just 2.2M(conneted with bias diode) to Intensity Pot? Thanks... Have a nice day
