Bruce	Re: Immediate Feedback at Startup I would hope your PT is OK since the frying bacon incident, A low freq oscillation bugs me though when talking about wiring in an in phase phase FB loop goof. Not being able to hear it is tough because your idea of low pitched might not be what I think of when I talk about low pth frequencies. Still, I think Doc's suggestion sounds like the right place to start this trouble shooting at least. If you are like me,...(lazy), it's sometimes easier just to pop the FB wire off the speaker jack to the FB loop to see if it stops oscillating... before I'd rewire the two power tube sockets. If the oscillation stops when you do that could you just reverse the leads on the speaker jack while you're there instead of rewiring the two tube sockets? Just a thought. Bruce
